Which free typefaces can set the name story's diacritics without a fallback font?
Made of
Four pairings of nine free families were set with real copy. Only Source Serif 4 with Geist Mono drew ṛ and √ without borrowing from another font.
The palette is paper, ink, and stone, with ultramarine as the water and flare pink as the light through the gap. Every color pair is measured for contrast against its use.
