Let's talk

Brand identity

What does a brand identity project include?

A brand identity project gives a company a recognizable, consistent way to appear. At Tirva it can include naming, a mark and logotype, an identity system of type, color, layout, and imagery, and guidelines your team can apply, each tried on real applications before handover.

Fair questions

What is the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

A logo is one mark. A brand identity is the system around it: name, typography, color, layout, imagery, and tone. It keeps the brand recognizable when the logo isn't there, and consistent across a website, packaging, or a sales deck.

Can Tirva help name a company or product?

Yes. Naming starts from the positioning: what the company does, who it is for, and how it should sound. The studio narrows a long list to a few candidates with rationale, checked in the languages you care about. Trademark clearance belongs with your attorney; the shortlist is prepared for it.

How do I know whether my brand needs a rebrand?

Look at the gap between what the company is now and what the brand says about it. Common signs: a change of direction, an identity that breaks on new channels, teams improvising without rules, or a name that confuses. Often a refresh is enough and the mark stays.

What do brand guidelines contain?

Guidelines cover the mark, typography, color, layout, imagery, and tone of voice, with correct and incorrect examples. They are built around what your team makes most, and they come with their source files, so nobody rebuilds an asset from a screenshot.
